

Lara Hanneman has over 25 years experience in theatre and the theme park industry. She has worked as Director of Entertainment, Entertainment Designer and Script Writer for Knott’s Berry Farm, Cedar Fair Entertainment, Disney Tokyo Sea, as well as other large international companies. She has excelled in consistent production of thematic aesthetics and graphics of the parks. Her most recent achievements include the theming for Voyage to the Iron Reef, remodel of Knott's Berry Farm’s famed Camp Snoopy, the renovation of the award winning Calico Mine Ride. Lara also uses her wide skill set in other areas of hospitality, such as interior design for hotel lobbies, catering and restaurant remodels. Her attention to detail when designing logos, graphics, linens, and ads lends to a smart and cohesive package. Lara has been the driving force of large events, including the world famous Knott’s Scary Farm event and the successful Knott’s Boysenberry Festival. She was trained in theatrical design and production and has hands-on experience with every aspect of a production from concept to execution. As Director, she found great joy in supporting, guiding and motivating a creative and skilled team toward complete collaboration and quality products. Additionally, Lara manages departmental and capital budgets. At her studio, she completed her fine art series “Women In Literature.” She also enjoys writing delectable cookbooks, entertaining and cooking gourmet meals for her friends and family at her restaurant, The Cauldron Spirits and Brews in Buena Park, CA.
